Collaboration

Talk to requesters. Keep technician notes private.

Reply in the request thread so the requester always knows where things stand, and leave internal notes that only IT staff can see.

  • Internal notes are filtered out for requesters on the server
  • Full history of status, priority, team and assignment changes
  • In-app notifications for the people involved
  • Requesters confirm or reopen a resolved request

Separate organization workspaces

Each organization works in its own workspace. Access is checked on the server for every request, and the database refuses links between organizations.

Branches and locations

Add your sites, give each member a location, and filter requests by branch. New requests are tagged with the requester's location.

Roles for every person

Requesters see only their own requests. Technicians work the whole queue. Administrators manage members, teams, categories and service levels.

Your data, exportable

Export the request list to CSV, or download everything your organization has in ABITDesk as one file.

Self-service knowledge base

Publish solution articles. Matching articles are suggested while employees type a new request.

Works on any device

ABITDesk runs in the browser on desktop, tablet and phone. There is nothing to install.

How it works

From request to resolution in four steps

  1. 1

    An employee submits a request

They describe the problem, pick a category and priority, and choose an IT team if they know it.

    NewHigh
  2. 2

    IT reviews and assigns it

The request reaches the right team. A technician picks it up, or a team lead assigns it.

    Service Desk → Lina M.
  3. 3

    Technicians work and resolve it

They reply, add internal notes, update the status and record what fixed the problem.

    Resolved
  4. 4

    Managers review the desk

The dashboard and overdue views show outstanding work, workload and service targets.
